This last week seems to have flown by. I think it was because Barry was off work on Monday and Tuesday to finish decorating the hall and stairs (it’s not quite finished yet but it’s looking awesome so far – I’m so pleased with it and I’ll definitely be sharing it when it’s fully done). Read more
I ended last week’s post by saying that I hoped the school runs would be dryer this week, and that Toby had done really well and hadn’t cried going into school at all. On the whole the school runs were less wet I think but on Thursday we got absolutely soaked walking to school, which ended up with Toby in hysterics because he was so wet! Read more
Toby was back at school this week after half term, and Gabe was back at preschool so we were back to the daily routine of school runs, reading books, and two tired boys. In fact Toby was apparently so tired coming back from school the other day that he had to hitch a ride in the buggy basket! Read more
And just like that half term is over and it’s back to school today for Toby. I’ve been a bit quiet round these parts after the madness of posting every day in October. We had a brilliant week last week in the Lake District – I’m not going to write too much about it here though because I’ve got a whole post about it coming soon. Read more
Finally, we made it through the last week of school and it’s half term! Toby has been so tired the last week, I’ve had to wake him up a few mornings, he’s been getting upset for no reason, he’s been wetting his pants a lot, and on Wednesday he managed to fall over at school four times! He’s now full of a cold and we’re going away today for a few days in the Lake District but I hope he manages to get some rest and recover while we’re away. Read more
Another week done, no half term for us yet though – Toby has still got another week at school to go before he breaks up. We’ve not been up to much this week, other than school and swimming. We had a quiet weekend at home too – I don’t know about you but we got a bit battered by Storm Brian so it really wasn’t the weather for going out! Read more
I have to confess I’ve taken hardly any pictures of the boys this week and if you follow me on Instagram then you may well have seen these pictures already.
This picture of Toby was taken after school one night – he’s definitely more settled now and most of his after school attitude seems to have disappeared, thank goodness. Read more
This week has been a bit of an unusual one for me as I spent the day on a cruise ship in Southampton on Wednesday for BlogCamp on Board. For the boys though it was another normal week apart from the fact that Daddy was looking after them on for a day, including doing the school runs and taking Toby to swimming for the first time. After I came back from BlogOn last weekend we’ve had a quiet week. Both boys are still so tired that it’s really not worth trying to do much with them so we’ve just enjoyed having Daddy at home and not done much of anything. Read more
We survived another week without Daddy, and then almost as soon as he came home I left to spend a night in Manchester and go to the BlogOn conference! Read more
