A few week back at school and it feels like we’ve never been away! Of course it’s been a bit odd with the Queen’s death and an extra day off but we’ve mostly settled back into our routines.
Our evenings are busy with Beavers, Cubs and swimming lessons. Saturdays are usually quiet days at home with getting homework done the only requirement for the boys, and then Sunday we get the shopping delivered and spend half the day at Street Monkeys. We’ve got another year before they will both be in the same class, so we’ll get a year where we only have to come for one lesson instead of two before Toby moves up again!
This week’s photos were just taken at home… Toby was busy doing his homework, and Gabe was building some Lego.
Both my boys love their screens but I do manage to drag them away for a bit every now and then!
Hope you’ve all settled back into the school routine, one more week and we’ll be over half way to the holidays!
This is my ninth year taking part in this linky celebrating childhood, based on a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” .
If you’d like to see the rest of my Living Arrows posts you can find them all here.
You always seem so busy during the week. We’re like that too at the moment and it feels like the whole evening is taken up with clubs! x
