With the Easter holidays in the middle of it April seems to have been a very quick month. The first week of the holidays was a fairly quiet one as Barry was still working but in the second week we went down to Derbyshire for a short holiday as I mentioned we would be doing in last month’s post. Time is marching on again now the Easter holidays are done. We just had a short week of school and nursery with only going back on Tuesday, and I know this month will fly with the May Day bank holiday and then half term at the end of the month. Read more

Last week we spent four nights in Derbyshire in a self-catering cottage near Bakewell. We had a really lovely time – the boys slept all night, they played nicely together in the big garden (most of the time) and we had some fab days out while we were there. Read more
Well that’s one week of the holidays done and one to go! We’ve actually had a really good, chilled out week. I’d even go so far as to say this is the best holiday we’ve had since Toby started school, certainly in terms of how well the boys have got on with each other. Read more
