Well, thankfully after the first few days of fighting Toby and Gabe have settled down a bit and I think got more used to having each other around all the time again. We made it to the summer holidays but if I’m being honest it hasn’t been the relief I was hoping for. Since we picked Toby up from school at 2pm on Friday the boys have done nothing but squabble and whinge! I’m really hoping that when the end of term tiredness has worn off a bit they both settle down, otherwise it’s going to be a very long 6 weeks! Read more
I’m just going to write a quick post this week because I’m writing this on Sunday night, it’s late, and I’m shattered after Toby’s birthday party today! Of course this week’s big event was Toby turning five on Wednesday. He was at school for his birthday but he had a great day by all accounts. Read more
It’s the middle of the month which means it’s Siblings time again. We’ve had a month of sunshine (just like the rest of the country) and with the heat and getting close to the end of term Toby and Gabe have been very tired and emotional. We’ve had plenty of fun though among the tears and tantrums. Read more

I feel like a bit of a broken record these last few weeks but we’ve really just had another normal, but roasting hot, week this week. The boys have been coping pretty well, and we’re lucky that are bedrooms are at the bottom of our house which is built into a hill and so they stay relative cool at night – I mean, they’re about 23 degrees but it’s certainly bearable. Although time is going really fast at the moment it actually feels like it’s been a while since I wrote last month’s Me & Mine post. At the start of this month we were just finishing up half term, and since then we’ve been struggling slightly with general end of term tiredness, and of course the amazing hot weather we’ve been having. A few weeks ago I realised it had got so far into June that it really wasn’t worth me writing a May likes and loves post so I just decided to wait and combine the two months into one post! Since my last post we’ve had my birthday and half term, and now we’re only a few weeks off the summer holidays! Week 26! Halfway through the year, and I’m a bit late with this week’s Living Arrows update. I don’t know what happened to last week, I think life just got away with me. Ooh, week 25 of Living Arrows – we’re nearly half way through the year. I’ve not got much to report since last week. I think Toby is still struggling with school-induced tiredness which is making it hard for him to control his behaviour.
