How do you relax? A long bath with good book? A glass of wine? Netflix and chocolate? Running or Zumba? Since having kids the amount of relaxation time available has greatly reduced so I really have to make the most of it. Read more
I’m not a big one for quotes really – you won’t often find me posting an inspirational quote on Facebook or Instagram. So when it came to writing a post about quotes for Blogtober I turned to some of my fellow bloggers to help me out. I asked them to tell me their favourite quotes that inspire them or make them happy, and this is what they came up with… Read more
Not much more to report on the siblings front really. Life continues much the same. Toby is finding Gabe a lot more fun now he can talk, and Gabe still just idolises his big brother. They still spend a lot of time fighting but they are starting to realise they can actually play together too – especially since they have a shared love of all things dinosaur. Read more
Toby has been scared of dogs since he was not much over two, probably since he started walking further outside and encountered a lot of dogs – and some of them were bigger than him! One of my favourite things to do is to sit down and watch a film, although I don’t seem to get as much time to do it any more. I love going to the cinema too but that hardly ever happens either apart from the occasional kids’ showing on a Saturday morning. Read more
We moved house back in July last year and we knew that one of the first things we wanted to do was knock down the wall between the kitchen and dining room and have a new kitchen diner. Luckily we managed to get the house for under the asking price and so that left us with enough money to get the work done fairly quickly. Read more
What goes black, white, black, white, black, white, splash?
A penguin rolling down a hill into some water.
And that, ladies and gentlemen is the best joke my lovely husband has ever come up with. We were on holiday in a cottage in the Lake District with a 10 month old Toby at the time. Read more
