I’m not a big one for quotes really – you won’t often find me posting an inspirational quote on Facebook or Instagram. So when it came to writing a post about quotes for Blogtober I turned to some of my fellow bloggers to help me out. I asked them to tell me their favourite quotes that inspire them or make them happy, and this is what they came up with…

Victoria, Lylia Rose
You can’t pour from an empty cup
Lucy, Hello Beautiful Bear
The man who climbed the mountain didn’t fall there
Katie, Mummy’s Diary
You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time. John Lydgate
Pete, Household Money Saving
Every scar you have is a reminder not just that you got hurt, but that you survived. Michelle Obama
Kim, Raising a Ragamuffin
Happiness is not an absence of problems just the ability to deal with them
Jen, Just Average Jen
If you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely. Roald Dahl
Laura, The Chatty Chronicles
She believed she could so she did. R.S Grey
Megan, Truly Madly Kids
An empty bag won’t stand up. Helen’s Mother-in-law
Helen, Casa Costello
Things always seem impossible until they’re done
Natalie, Mumworthy
I think there’s some great quotes here but there was one other suggestion which is actually one I have relied on to help me feel better a lot since I became a parent…
Apparently it’s a Buddhist saying which I didn’t know, so thank you to Sophia from Tattooed Tealady for reminding me of this one. And of course a big thank you to all the other bloggers for sharing their words of wisdom with me.
This is the seventeenth post in my #Blogtober series – you can read the rest of the posts here.
