It’s been another uneventful week this week, although I have no idea where time is going at the moment, it’s just absolutely flying by!
Toby’s photo this week was taken when I was trying to get some pictures for my What Toby Wore post. He’s going through a phase of not really wanting to pose for photos, and if he will stand still he just pulls silly faces. So I got him to go to the far edge of the garden, put the camera in sport mode, got him to run towards me, kept pressing the shutter and hoped something would turn out at least in focus!
And I got this…
I think I’ll be trying the run at the camera and hope method again!
We had a quiet weekend at home and when our plans for a trip to the garden centre were scuppered by Gabe having a late nap we decided to just go and play out on the street for a bit instead. We got a scooter for Toby at Christmas – it also had the option to attach a seat but when we tried Gabe on it at the time he wasn’t a fan. He’s much bigger now though so we thought we’d give it another go. He definitely enjoyed it – I think we might need another scooter in our lives so Toby can have his back!
That scooter is so cool! It is like a balance bike/scooter combo! Gorgeous run and hope for the best shot too. You definitely should try that again 🙂 #livingarrows
Such a great photo of Toby, your trick worked really well! And that scooter seat is amazing, I’ve not seen one like that before! x #LivingArrows
You got a really good shot with the sports mode. My Jake is the same at the moment almost every photo include a funny face or him jumping about. Gabe looks like he’s having fun. #LivingArrows
That’s a great photo of Toby, well done! Gabe looks like he is taking it all in, working out what it is you’ve put it on. They do love a scooter! x #LivingArrows
My nearly five year old hates having his photo taken. I definitely took too many photos in those years. #livingarrows
Thats a brilliant photo of Toby there! Gabe looks like he is loving that scooter, he seems to be really concentrating on figuring it out anyway! #LivingArrows
Oh my gosh, how grown up does Gabe look on that scooter!? He is gorgeous!! Love that photo of Toby too – he’s so in the moment and love his hair all flowing back x
What a great photo of Toby! I’ve used that method before… the press the shutter and hope for the best approach! Ha!
I’ve always liked the look of the scooters with the seats (not for me… for the boys)!
That photo of Toby came out really well. I do the same, just keep burst mode on, because we get the ‘no photos’ and pulling faces too. #livingarrows
Thats such a cool scooter! #LivingArrows
I love the way his hair catches the light. So beautiful #livingarrows
Such an interesting scooter – I’ve never seen one like that! And that photo of Toby is stunning – it came out perfectly #LivingArrows
What a fantastic shot! It’s funny how it’s the ‘hope for the best ones’ that often turn out well isn’t it? Ha ha! Gabe looks very at home on the scooter, I think the second one always picks it up quicker. We met an 18 month old at the playground who was scooting around on his brother’s scooter! It won’t be long! x #LivingArrows
I always do the running towards the camera technique for Parker (because that’s what he does.. not because I choose too haha). Such a fab capture though!! xx
