If you read my Living Arrows post last week you’ll know we had a lot of tears on the first day back at school and nursery last week. Fortunately it was short-lived and Toby and Gabe were both OK for the rest of the week. Toby went in every day with a big smile on his face and Gabe, despite moaning about not wanting to go to nursery, was absolutely fine when he got there and didn’t even cry when I left him! Read more
Wow! Where did October disappear to? The boys were off for half term last week but we didn’t do very much. In fact I can’t remember what we’ve done in October at all! I started the month with a weekend away at Croft House in the Lake District with some other lovely bloggers, the following weekend Barry had a night out with his friends and other than that we’ve done a lot of relaxing at home and watching Star Wars films! And just like that half term is done. Unfortunately we had quite a lot of tears about going back to school and nursery this morning but I’m hoping it’s just because it was the first day back and tomorrow will be better. We didn’t do an awful lot during the holiday – both boys just need time at home to decompress, relax and recover I think and hopefully they managed to do that. Read more

I think we’re all ready for half term next week though! Read more
It’s been a fairly quiet week here, just the usual school and nursery and running errands. We’ve only got one week to go until half term and I think the boys are both ready for a break. I really need to think of some things to fill our time though or it won’t feel like much of a break for me! Read more
Monday again! Another week done which means it’s time for another Living Arrows post. I was away this weekend in the Lake District with a lovely group of bloggers (I’ll be writing all about it very soon!) so it meant picture taking duty fell to Daddy again this week. Read more
I swear I only wrote last week’s Living Arrows post two minutes ago – I don’t know where the time is going at the moment. I’m sure the boys only just went back to school and nursery but it’s October already, and half term in three weeks! Read more
I can’t believe we’re at the end of September already! This month seems to have gone super quickly. It started with Toby going back to school and Gabe starting at his new nursery, and since then the weeks just seem to have flown by. Read more
