Living Arrows 41/53 (2018)

Monday again! Another week done which means it’s time for another Living Arrows post. I was away this weekend in the Lake District with a lovely group of bloggers (I’ll be writing all about it very soon!) so it meant picture taking duty fell to Daddy again this week.

Both boys have been more settled at school and nursery this last week. I’m hoping we really have turned the corner now, and it doesn’t get messed up by having a week off for half term in a couple of weeks! Toby particularly is like a different boy to the one who was crying and being dragged off me the first few weeks. He’s now running into school so fast he quite often has to come back out because I’ve still got his bag! Long may it continue.

Toby has even been doing his homework without as much protestation as we were having for the first few weeks of school. As well as reading three times a week, Toby is also given two worksheets to do (one maths, one English). He’s not the biggest fan of writing, but he is improving so much and hopefully he’ll carry on doing his homework without too much struggle.

On Sunday Barry took the boys up to see his parents, as he often does if I’m away. Toby and Gabe love going to Nana and Grandad’s house – there are always new toys to play with. And probably more importantly for Gabe there is usually cake!
