Unless you’ve been living under a rock you probably know that our planet is heading for a crisis if we don’t do something about our plastic use. From governments banning single use plastics to zero waste shops popping up all over the place and Richard Attenborough praising Glastonbury for going plastic free, it seems like the war on plastic is starting to gain momentum. But doing the right thing for the environment isn’t always the most convenient but there are changes you can make that are super easy. In this post I’m sharing 13 eco-friendly plastic free swaps that we’ve made recently. Read more
This is going to be a short Me & Mine post this month mostly because I can’t really remember what we’ve been doing! Our family picture was taken at the start of the month on our holiday to the Lake District. I was planning on getting another one later in the month but it just didn’t happen some how. Read more

So, here we are at week 26, halfway through the year! Last week Gabe enjoyed his second taster session at school, and Toby was a superstar performing in his class assembly. They’re both still so tired though – we’re definitely on the countdown to the holidays here! Read more
I can’t believe there are only four weeks of the summer term left! Gabe had his first taster session last week, and really enjoyed himself by all accounts. He told me he ‘played with LEGO and dinosaurs, listened to a story, had a drink of blackcurrant, drew a picture, got a sticker…and had a wee’. Sounds like all the important bases were covered! Another week done – I can’t believe we’re almost half way through the year already! After our long half term the boys had a full week back at school and nursery last week, and despite having just had a holiday they seemed to be very tired and emotional this weekend. Read more

If your kids like making pizzas like mine do then Pizza Express has just launched a competition perfect for all your budding pizzaiolos (that’s pizza chefs to you and me). Read more
We love going on holiday to the Lake District with our two young children – we’ve been at least once a year since Toby was born. All our previous holidays have been in cottages but when I won a two night stay in a glamping pod we were very happy to try something different. So what did we get up to in our 48 hours in the Lake District? Read more
I’m not going to write much today seeing as it’s only a few days since I wrote my last post! The boys both did well back at school and nursery at the end of last week, and then we’ve had a fairly busy weekend. They were both definitely shattered by bedtime last night anyway! Read more
Wow, I’m super late with this week’s Living Arrows post! Since my last posthalf term has been and gone, although Toby and Gabe only went back to school and nursery today. We had a fairly quiet first week; a trip to a play centre, a meal out for my birthday, a visit to the dentist, a visit to my mum and dad’s house where my brother and sister-in-law were staying, and Toby and I went swimming while Gabe had a day at nursery. Actually, when I write it all down it doesn’t seem quiet at all! Read more
