Living Arrows 21/52 (2019)

It’s going to be another quick post from me this week. The last week of school went by quickly – Gabe has been full of a cold, again, but has been battling through and still enjoyed his days at nursery. Toby had his sports day on Thursday so I went along to watch that, but otherwise the week was pretty uneventful.

I was so proud of Toby at his sports day. He was in three races, and even though he didn’t win any of them he tried so hard and he didn’t give up, even when the beanbag really didn’t want to stay on his head! Last year I managed to capture a picture of him crossing the finish line in the sack race, and this year’s picture shows him racing for the line in the obstacle race.

I can’t wait until next year when Toby and Gabe are both in sports day together, it’s going to be so cute!

I didn’t really take any pictures of Gabe this week so this is just a quick snap I grabbed at home today.

Gabe and his cheeky smile

We’ve had a quiet bank holiday weekend – we realised on Saturday night that Toby had threadworms so I literally spent all day on Sunday cleaning the house from top to bottom and washing all our clothes, bedding and towels! It’s my birthday tomorrow so we’re going out for a meal with my family but apart from that it’s going to be a quiet week I think. We’re going away to the Lakes next weekend for a few days so we’re all looking forward to that, and just hoping we get some nice weather!

  1. You can really see the determination in Toby’s face! We have A and T’s sports days soon and I can’t wait to see how they do x

  2. Lovely sports day photos – we’ve not had ours yet and as my boys are in Infants and Juniors I have to go to two separate ones! #LivingArrows
