As companies became increasingly dependent on electronic communications, we all believed that the age of the paperless workplace was upon us. However, shops, restaurants, hairdressers, legal firms, and small manufacturing businesses still heavily rely on tangible documents. Learning how to be paperless helps minimise office waste, saves time and money, helps safely store sensitive documentation, and can help to save a few trees!

Finally, I have something different to write about this week! Last week we took a half term holiday from school work, and Barry had a few days off work too. It was my birthday on Thursday which we celebrated with afternoon tea at home, and on Friday we all left the house together for the first time in over 10 weeks.

I’m finally back with a Me & Mine post! I knew I hadn’t written one for a while but when I looked back it turns out I haven’t done one since January! I just didn’t get round to taking any family pictures in February and then lock down came at the end of March and until the last few days we haven’t been anywhere at all.

Millionaire’s Shortbread is a family favourite here – is there anyone who doesn’t love the delicious shortbread, caramel and chocolate combo? This is actually a recipe my mum gave me – she used to make it every time we went away in the caravan! I haven’t made it myself for years but along with the rest of the nation I decided lock down was the perfect time to get my bake on! You might think making caramel is complicated but for this recipe you can do it all in the microwave and it’s super easy.

I really am running out of things to say in these weekly posts – every day just seems like the last and nothing ever seems to change. I can’t believe we have barely left the house for 10 weeks now!

It’s nearly four years now since we moved to our current house. We are slowly but surely updating and decorating the rooms as we can afford to! The first was the kitchen diner, then the hall and most recently was the downstairs bathroom. I would love to do the living room soon, but in reality I think it might have to wait until the boys are a bit bigger. It doesn’t stop me dreaming though, and planning my perfect living room!

I’m a bit late with this week’s Living Arrows post because I hadn’t managed to take any pictures of the boys at all last week. There’s not really much to take pictures of at the moment is there?

Here we are again. Things are much the same here – our new home learning plan that we brought in last week is still working reasonably well so we’re sticking with it for now. We all enjoyed a relaxed three day weekend this weekend though with the bank holiday so I think we’ll be keeping that every week too!
