I’m a bit late with my Living Arrows post this week, mostly because I hadn’t taken any photos of the boys at all last week. They’ve settled back into the school routine as if they’ve never been away really, and I’ve been making the most of a quiet house to get it all clean and tidy again after them being at home for the last six weeks!

We made it! The boys are going back to school this morning and we’re all really hoping that our home learning experience is over for good! To be honest it hasn’t been too bad this time round – Toby and Gabe have been amazing at coping with everything and we’re super proud of them but I know there is so much that they get from school that we just can’t give them at home.

Living Arrows 7/52 (2021)

We made it! Half term is here and I’m already enjoying our first day of not having to do school work. We don’t have many plans for this week – I think we’re going to go for a walk along the canal this afternoon to make the most of the only day it isn’t going to be raining, and there’s a few indoor things we can do later in the week.

Well, we’ve made it through our first full week of home school / remote learning or whatever you want to call it. As I mentioned last week the boys are relatively happy to get on with the work that their teachers set each day but they both need a lot of help with most things – I’ve no idea how parents who are trying to work themselves are managing it, because for me it’s almost a full time job!
