I didn’t quite start the year as I meant to go on by publishing my first Living Arrows post on time, and if I’m honest I was quite tempted not to post at all. I used to write about all sorts of things on this blog of mine, but in the last year or so (since the start of the pandemic really) I have been posting less and less until it has got to the point where these weekly posts about the boys and what we’ve been up to are the only ones I ever write!
But I’ve been writing these posts for 8 years now – I published the first one in January 2014 when Toby was only 5 months old so I just can’t bring myself to stop now!
So here we are… this week’s pictures were taken at the start of last. We’d been to see my mum and I’d promised the boys a trip to McDonalds on the way home.
We’re all back at school now, back to the routine. I’m glad it’s only a short term though – only 5 weeks until we break up for half term!
This is my ninth year taking part in this linky celebrating childhood, based on a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” .
If you’d like to see the rest of my Living Arrows posts you can find them all here.
You have just inspired me to count the weeks here as well, as I can already feel all the uncertainty.I wont stop these posts either so lovely to look back on. Wishing you all a speedy first half term x
I’m struggling with time and motivation to post other content. I also don’t want to stop living arrows updates. I hope that you’re all holding up ok? xx
