Here we are again, another week done, and another week of negative lateral flow tests for us! The virus is rife at school at the moment, and even though the boys only had it at Christmas I’m still conscious that they could easily get it again. And even though I avoided it when they had it, I don’t know if I’m going to dodge it again… only time will tell I guess!
Anyway, it’s been another standard week for us, nothing much exciting happening at the moment. I took this week’s pictures yesterday after the boys got out of the bath (hence Toby’s wet hair). I’ve got no idea what this face is all about though – it’s rare he lets me take a sensible picture these days!
And here’s one of Gabe playing on the Switch. Both boys really are their father’s children and will happily spend all day playing video games if we’d let them (we don’t let them but they do get time to play pretty much every day, at least for a bit).
Until next week then….
This is my ninth year taking part in this linky celebrating childhood, based on a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” .
If you’d like to see the rest of my Living Arrows posts you can find them all here.
Oh we’ve spent time on our switches this week too, they are certainly a cute and popular console!
We are very much in the swing of typical weeks now. Just the same routine each week but i’m enjoying it as, like you, covid is rife in the schools. I can’t help but think it’ll hit here again at some point.
My eldest is definitely into his games too although he only really gets a chance to play at the weekend because of all the school clubs. Although he does try to zoom call his friends once a week and they play Roblox! Hope you have had another week of negative tests x
I love his whale pj’s! It’s getting crazy the amount of cases in school right now. Hopefully we can all get to half term without more isolations! x
