I’m late again with Living Arrows this week. Being late last week, and then going on holiday has got me all out of sync. I haven’t missed a post for probably a year or two now though so I’m not about to start this week!

I’m so late with my Living Arrows post this week. The time just seems to have got away from me somehow. And the boys are going to bed a bit later with it being the holidays, which is fine but leaves me even less time to do anything in the evenings!

We have survived another week of the summer holidays! If I listed all the things we have been doing it would probably sound like we’ve been having a lovely time, and there have been some fun times but I’d be lying if I didn’t also tell you there there has been a lot of squabbling and quite a lot of shouting (mostly from me) too! Well we have survived the first week of the summer holidays – even if it hasn’t actually been a full week! Like the rest of the country we’ve been having some crazy weather with temperatures reaching 34°C on Thursday and then pouring rain for the last few days! Read more

So, here we are at week 26, halfway through the year! Last week Gabe enjoyed his second taster session at school, and Toby was a superstar performing in his class assembly. They’re both still so tired though – we’re definitely on the countdown to the holidays here! Read more
I can’t believe there are only four weeks of the summer term left! Gabe had his first taster session last week, and really enjoyed himself by all accounts. He told me he ‘played with LEGO and dinosaurs, listened to a story, had a drink of blackcurrant, drew a picture, got a sticker…and had a wee’. Sounds like all the important bases were covered! Another week done – I can’t believe we’re almost half way through the year already! After our long half term the boys had a full week back at school and nursery last week, and despite having just had a holiday they seemed to be very tired and emotional this weekend. Read more
