Toby posting his letter to Father Christmas

Week 50  – only another weeks to go before the end of the year, and I’ll have completed my fourth year of Living Arrows. This week has mostly been about Christmas (unsurprisingly!) – there’s been a lot of talk about the baby Jesus from Toby, and he’s still been practising for his nativity, which he’s doing tomorrow and Wednesday. Gabe doing his 'cheese' face

Another week gone and now we’re actually in December it feels like Christmas is just around the corner. Toby is busy practising for his school nativity, there’s the Christmas fair on Friday this week, I’ve got a night out with some of the school mum’s next weekend, and Barry’s got two Christmas nights out coming up in the next couple of weeks too. Toby sticking his tongue out and pulling a silly face

I ended last week’s post by saying that I hoped the school runs would be dryer this week, and that Toby had done really well and hadn’t cried going into school at all. Gabey having fun in the woods in the Lake District

And just like that half term is over and it’s back to school today for Toby. I’ve been a bit quiet round these parts after the madness of posting every day in October. We had a brilliant week last week in the Lake District – I’m not going to write too much about it here though because I’ve got a whole post about it coming soon.  Read more

Finally, we made it through the last week of school and it’s half term! Toby has been so tired the last week, I’ve had to wake him up a few mornings, he’s been getting upset for no reason, he’s been wetting his pants a lot, and on Wednesday he managed to fall over at school four times! He’s now full of a cold and we’re going away today for a few days in the Lake District but I hope he manages to get some rest and recover while we’re away. Read more

Gabe in the bath

Another week done, no half term for us yet though – Toby has still got another week at school to go before he breaks up. We’ve not been up to much this week, other than school and swimming. We had a quiet weekend at home too – I don’t know about you but we got a bit battered by Storm Brian so it really wasn’t the weather for going out! Read more
