I don’t know what the weather has been like with you the last week but it’s been pretty awful here. We’ve managed to get out of the house a little bit but we’ve had plenty of quiet times at home too. On Friday the boys stayed in their pyjamas all day and we brought the train set down from where it had been living upstairs.
My brother and sister-in-law bought Toby a massive wooden train set for Christmas but it’s been in our spare bedroom since then. Toby has been going up to play with it sometimes but when we first got it Gabe was a bit too young to appreciate it and we could just see it causing arguments when he destroyed the track or took the trains.
Since we brought it downstairs last week though Gabe has not stopped playing with it. He has spent ages sitting pushing the trains round saying ‘choo choo’ over and over again. He is getting so many more words lately and was so funny the other day just sitting in the middle of the track saying ‘look mummy, choo choo, I did it, oh dear’ on a loop!
Toby has been enjoying the train track too, actually there have been remarkably few arguments. Luckily it’s big enough that they can both play without getting in each other’s way too much. I didn’t really have any pictures for this week’s Living Arrows so when I had the camera out to take our Me & Mine pictures for this month I took a few snaps of the boys too. This is a pretty standard face from Toby whenever he sees the camera these days!
Ha, love the cheeky glint in Toby’s eyes in his photo! And Gabe is starting to look so big, it’s such fun when they start getting chatty isn’t it! x #LivingArrows
Gabe really loves his train doesn’t he Blake is the same #livingarrows
Oh Toby’s dimples. Gorgeous despite the tongue!
Sadly our wooden railway sets are going to have to be sold because the OH won’t store them up in the roof and I can’t get them up there.
Love Toby’s dimples! I love it when they can play happily together, both in their own little world of imagination x #LivingArrows
A wooden train set is always a big runner. Both mine love playing with it too lately. #livingarrows
