OK, so let’s just ignore the fact this post is almost an entire week late and crack on shall we? Time is just flying at the moment, between school and the boys’ Cubs, Beavers, swimming lessons and Street Monkeys we really don’t seem to have time for anything else!
Last weekend the boys got their uniforms on to join in our town Remembrance parade with their Scout group. We were super proud of both of them for walking in the parade and then standing for what was really quite a long service.
Toby and Gabe both love going to Cubs and Beavers, even though they’ve done most of it during the pandemic and so have missed out on lots of the activities they would usually do. Things are starting to get back to normal now though so hopefully it will stay that way!
I can’t believe we’ve only got a couple of weeks of November left – and it’s only 4 weeks until we break up for the Christmas holidays! I’m resisting putting our tree up for another few weeks yet though…
This is my ninth year taking part in this linky celebrating childhood, based on a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” .
If you’d like to see the rest of my Living Arrows posts you can find them all here.
They look so incredibly smart – you must be so, so proud of them both! x
Charlie is at cubs, I need to put Harry on the list for Beavers next year and you have just reminded me. We also had a remembrance day service where Charlie walked in the parade. He has really missed Cubs during the pandemic. They look very smart such lovely photos x
The boys are looking so smart in their uniform! I keep running late with my posts as well, so much juggling! x
