Living Arrows 13/52 (2022)

Here I am, last minute as usual! I even took these photos last weekend but then just never got round to writing the post to go with them. Not much has happened in the last week though – we made it through the last week of term and now we’ve got a quite weekend before we go on holiday on Monday.

I took both these pictures of the boys last Sunday. We went and had a lovely afternoon tea with my mum and brother at our local garden centre.

Like I said, we’ve not done much this week, just counting down the days until the end of term. It doesn’t feel like that long since Christmas but at the same time we’re all definitely ready for a holiday. I don’t want to jinx anything but it looks like we’re finally going to get to go on our Forest Holidays break on Monday. We were supposed to be going during the Easter holidays in 2020, just after we went into the first lockdown. We moved it to Easter last year and then found ourselves locked down again, so this time I’m crossing everything that we’re actually going to get there!

I hope you all have a lovely Easter holiday, or the last few days of school aren’t too bad if you’ve not broken up yet!

This is my ninth year taking part in this linky celebrating childhood, based on a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” .
