January feels like it has been the longest month ever – but despite that we still didn’t manage to get a family picture until today, when it was already February! We’ve had a fairly quiet month just getting used to the back to school routine. And now we’re back into the swing of things it’s only just over a week until half term!
We did have a fab trip to The World Museum in Liverpool this month and Toby and Gabe really loved going on the train to see the dinosaur bones. I’m hoping we manage at least one fun trip like that every month this year.
So, seeing as we didn’t manage to get any family pictures through the month it meant we had to take one at home after school today. I thought it would be fun to try and recreate last year’s January picture in what was then our new kitchen.
Taking pictures at the end of the day when everyone is tired is never really a good idea though – which is why you might notice Gabe is holding a biscuit!
And having a tickling picture too seems to becoming a bit of a tradition for us…
I think you’ll agree though – the boys have definitely grown since last year. Look how small they were…
That’s all for now then – until next month, when hopefully we’ll manage to get an outdoor picture (and do it on time!)
Oh these are so cute I love the last minute ones that are indoors because it’s a glimpse into our family reality and everyday life as much as I love the style ones too. We had the same January got away from me so busy. Hoping February is warmer. #meandmine
Aww I LOVE the tickling picture, so lovely! I really hope Feb isn’t such a long and wet month haha xx
