These Living Arrows posts seem to be coming round so often at the moment! I think being on holiday has made time both slow down and speed up too somehow! We came back from France yesterday so are mostly spending today just relaxing at home (apart from Barry who was up at 5:30 am this morning to go back to work) – the boys are loving getting to play with all their toys again. Bonjour encore! We’re still in France on holiday at the moment so it’s going to be another quick post from me this week. We’re having a lovely time with a mix of relaxing, playing and exploring. We made it to the summer holidays but if I’m being honest it hasn’t been the relief I was hoping for. Since we picked Toby up from school at 2pm on Friday the boys have done nothing but squabble and whinge! I’m really hoping that when the end of term tiredness has worn off a bit they both settle down, otherwise it’s going to be a very long 6 weeks! Read more

I feel like a bit of a broken record these last few weeks but we’ve really just had another normal, but roasting hot, week this week. The boys have been coping pretty well, and we’re lucky that are bedrooms are at the bottom of our house which is built into a hill and so they stay relative cool at night – I mean, they’re about 23 degrees but it’s certainly bearable.
