Living Arrows 50/52 (2017)

Week 50  – only another weeks to go before the end of the year, and I’ll have completed my fourth year of Living Arrows. This week has mostly been about Christmas (unsurprisingly!) – there’s been a lot of talk about the baby Jesus from Toby, and he’s still been practising for his nativity, which he’s doing tomorrow and Wednesday.

After the boys wrote their letters to Father Christmas last weekend we posted them on Monday after school. Toby and Gabe were both excited to put the letter in the post box, now we just have to wait and see if we get a reply!

On Friday Toby had a Christmas jumper day at school, and then it was the Christmas fair after school. It was a bit hectic but we did pretty well out of it – we won a big tub of chocolates, a bottle of Coke, a snowman toy and a stuffed mole!

I couldn’t resist putting Gabe in his elf tights for the fair. I bought these when Toby was about 18 months – they fit him for two Christmases and then Gabe wore them last year. I think this might be their last outing though, I don’t think they’ll last another year! How cute does he look though?

  1. The nativity story really seems to capture their attention at that age, Daisy has been exactly the same this year. Toby look so pleased with himself, I hope he gets a lovely letter back from the North Pole. Gabe looks incredibly sweet in those little elf tights. Have a lovely week x

  2. Oh my word Gabe looks so cute in those elf tights! And Toby looks like he was really excited to post his letter off to Father Christmas! We had our school fair last week too, we didn’t win anything but the children found some bargains at the second hand toy stall! x #LivingArrows
