Another week done, and hopefully another week closer to getting back to something approaching normal. I know we’ve probably still got a long way to go but we’ve got to look for the positives where we can. We’re half way to half term and week off remote learning at least!
Last week was much the same as the two before – the home school work seems to be taking longer if anything, I don’t think they’re getting any more work but we’re having longer breaks and it’s just taking the boys longer to get things done. We’re getting through it though.
We did wake up to more snow on Saturday though which was pretty exciting. Having never played in the snow before the boys have had the chance to do it twice in as many weeks! They built another snowman – I’m hoping they’ve learned from last time though and we don’t get quite so many tears when this one melts!
We also had fun throwing snowballs – Toby has got quite the aim these days! We were messing about trying to get a photo of him throwing one at me while I took a picture and he managed to hit me square on with quite a few of them!
Gabe had a go too, although throwing snowballs in big mittens was harder than it looked! We all had fun and a bit of fresh air at least. We’re just watching and waiting to see how long the snowman lasts now…
Just one more week to go and this never-ending January will be over, I hope you all have as stress-free a week as is possible. Until next week….

I’m so glad that you got to have some fun in the snow, I am so sad that we only got a dusting which stayed with us for the whole of an hour 🙁
The snow was so lovely last weekend. Such a welcome treat and respite from monotony! The school work is taking us longer too. We’re just so fed up with it tbh. I’m counting down to half term now x
Lancashire seems to be hogging all the snow hehe! I’m counting down to half term not that it will be very exciting but it means no logging onto google classroom, zooms or Microsoft teams at least! Hope you have a good week this week x
I think it will definitely go down as the longest Janurary in history!! Thats a brilliant photo of Toby. Charlies keep up with his work okay but I am a week behind on Harrys but there’s always half term to catch up!! Hope you have a good week x
