One more day to go! Tomorrow Toby and Gabe are both going back to school and if I’m honest, I can’t wait! They both really need to get back to the routine of school, seeing their friends, engaging their brains and not spending 24 hours a day with each other. And I’m just looking forward to a few hours of peace and quiet.

We’ve not been up to much since last week’s post. The boys had another swimming lesson. Their swim school has changed the way they are operating now they have reopened so they’re having private lessons now. With just the two of them and the teacher in the water with them I’m hoping this might be the year they both actually learn to swim properly!

The last few days the weather has improved and we’ve been spending a bit of time in the garden. If you’ve been following my Instagram Stories you might have seen we’ve had a lot of work done in the garden over the last month. It’s pretty much finished now (apart from needing a lot of planting) so we’ve been able to get out and start using it. Which means this week we’ve got some trampoline shots…

If you read my Living Arrows post last week you’ll know I have decided to start using our big DSLR camera on full manual mode so I got in a bit more practice with these pictures.

I’ll be back next week with our traditional back to school photos. It feels very strange to think they are going into Year 1 and Year 3, when they didn’t really get the chance to finish Reception and Year 2 properly. I’m really hoping they settle back in OK, and as much as I’m looking forward to them going back I think I’m really going to miss having them at home too.
