Living Arrows 21/53 (2018)

I don’t know about you but it feels like the weeks are absolutely flying by at the moment. Last week we had the school summer BBQ, and next week it’s sports day. Then we’re into half term, and my 40th birthday! The weather has been so lovely lately too so it’s really starting to feel like summer.

This weekend we took the boys (and their scooter/ trike) to Stanley Park in Blackpool – it’s such a lovely place to spend an hour or two, even if our attempts to feed the ducks turned into me making Toby and Gabe about as scared of pigeons as I am! I really try not to pass things like that on to them, but my fear of pigeons (well most birds really) is very real.

Pigeons aside though, we had a lovely trip to the park in the sun with the obligatory ice creams all round. After that we dropped Barry off to pick up his new car and then headed home for the boys to play outside in the garden a bit more.

Toby is loving rolling down the hill at the side of our house at the moment – and we’ll just ignore the fact it’s probably covered in cat wee and poo from all our neighbourhood cats that seem to think our garden is the perfect toilet! Anyway, he had fun so I guess that’s all that matters right?

Until next week…when I’ll actually be 40!

  1. Lovely photos of the boys, you can really see how much fun they are having. It’s so lovely to get to enjoy the great outdoors in the sunshine.

  2. Oh it looks like you’ve had such a nice time outside – and the weeks really are flying past. I think the sun has something to do with that! x

  3. Have you tried white pepper for the cats? Think you can get it as a value/basic so it’s not expensive and that helps keep the cats away. Hope you have had a lovely birthday this week xx #livingarrows
