Can you believe that we have been parents for nearly four and a half years now, and so far have avoided ever playing kids’ music in the car?! Well last week that all changed when we were sent the Kids Songs CD – three CDs full of all your favourite tunes from CBeebies. As soon as we put the first disc in and the Go Jetters theme tune came on Toby and Gabe were hooked!
The three CDs really do have all the songs you’ll know from CBeebies – as well as Go Jetters there are songs from Clangers, Rastamouse, Wolly & Tig, Everything’s Rosie and many more. It’s even got ‘I am a Shape’ from Mister Maker. Toby loves listening to each song and telling me what program it’s from, while Gabe just shouts ‘what’s next?’ as soon as a song finishes.
The Kids Songs CD is only £5.99 from Amazon and it would make a great stocking filler for toddlers and pre-schoolers this Christmas.
Along with the Kids Songs CD we were also sent a bundle of CBeebies goodies – for your chance to win the same bundle just complete the Rafflecopter at the end of this post.
In the bundle there is a fab Clangers family planner calendar – it has five columns so you can have one for each family member and it even comes with handy stickers for things like birthdays and the start or end of term so you don’t even need to write them on by hand.
We also received an Everything’s Rosie jigsaw – Gabe loves jigsaws at the moment so this was perfect for him, and it was tricky enough for Toby to enjoy making it too. There is also an Everything’s Rosie purse – perfect for pocket money or keeping all those little treasures together.
Next up is a Boj Blast Off Buddies DVD – it has 10 full episodes plus bonus features. I’m a big fan of Boj, the tunes are so catchy, and I love how there’s always a bit of a moral story in every episode.
Lastly we received a code to get the new Rastamouse app from the App Store. I’m always looking for new apps for the boys to enjoy and this one is fab – it helps them practice their listening skills, and introduces them to following a rhythm too. It’s only available for Apple devices so unfortunately Toby and Gabe can’t have it on their tablets – but I always like to have a few games for them on my phone anyway, for those times we get stuck waiting in a queue or restaurant it’s great to have something on hand to distract them!
