Remembering Childhood // Tattooed Lady With A Baby

It’s that time of week when another blogger is going to be sharing their childhood memories. This week’s Remembering Childhood comes from Louise at Tattooed Lady With A Baby.

Which decade were you born in?

The 80s.

Louise from tattooed lady with a baby

What is your earliest memory? How old were you?

Sitting in a yellow onesie in my high chair eating Weetabix, I was about 2 and a half I’d say.

What was your favourite toy at 5 years old? At 10?

My doll, called Catherine at 5, and at 10 it would’ve been my arts and crafts box, I was always making something.

Do you still have any toys from your childhood?

Catherine the doll is my old bedroom at my parents although she now has a wonky eye and chewed off finger!

Who was your favourite pop group/artist as a teenager?

Westlife in my early teens and then Linkin Park, Evanescence in my late teens.

What was your favourite TV show(s)?

Byker Grove, Grange Hill and Home & Away.

What was the first film you remember seeing at the cinema?

The Little Mermaid for my birthday.

Do you have any dodgy haircut/ outfit memories that you’d rather forget?

I used to wear patchwork baggy pants, I’m sure they are still floating around my parents house somewhere!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Either a nurse or photographer.

If you could go back to being a child again what age would you choose and why?

About 5 or 6, back to a time when I still believed in things like Santa and the world was full of magic.

Thanks for sharing your memories Louise – I still love Home & Away now!
