Remembering Childhood // Mummy To My Cheeky Little Monkey

We’ve had a bit of a break over Christmas but I’m back with another Remembering Childhood post. This week it’s the turn of Vicki from Mummy to My Cheeky Little Monkey

I was born in the mid eighties – 1985 to be exact!

What is your earliest memory? How old were you?

I can remember looking out of my great aunt’s bedroom window at the crane ‘Big Geordie’ on the opencast mining.

What was your favourite toy at 5 years old? At 10?

At 5 probably my Barbie dolls. At 10 I think my tennis racket.

Do you still have any toys from your childhood?

Yes I still have loads of my cuddly toys which have been passed onto the boy!

Who was your favourite pop group/artist as a teenager?

I admit to being a saddo and loving Westlife!

What was your favourite TV show(s)?

Friends!

What was the first film you remember seeing at the cinema?

Robin Hood Prince of Thieves as it was filmed at Alnwick Castle.

Do you have any dodgy haircut/ outfit memories that you’d rather forget?

Probably…

Mummy to my cheeky little monkey

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A footballer – ha ha

If you could go back to being a child again what age would you choose and why?

I think I would like to be at junior school again as I was allowed to play football!

Thanks for sharing your childhood memories Vicki.

If you enjoyed this post please come back next week when another blogger will be remembering their childhood.
