Living Arrows 4/52 (2017)

I don’t know about you but it feels like time is absolutely flying at the moment, I’m sure it was only a few days ago I was writing last week’s Living Arrows post!

We’ve not been up to much again this week, the weather hasn’t been great and if I’m honest I’ve just not had much motivation to get us out of the house. This weekend though it brightened up a bit and we made it out to the park for a bit of fresh air.

Gabe was loving having a bit of freedom and was quite happy just toddling about…

Toby is a funny one – sometimes he can be brave and pretty fearless and other times he can be very nervous of things. We tend to go in the big kids park because the toddler one is a bit boring for him now, but there are a few parts he still needs a hand with. Just before I took this picture I was trying to get him to go on a trickier rope crossing (which he’s done perfectly fine before) but he wasn’t having any of it. He was quite happy with this part though, which has a much bigger bridge to walk across and hand rails on each side. You still see how much he is concentrating on making it across though…

I hoping the rain stays away this week and we can get out a bit more. The boys are always so much easier when we make the effort to go out – it’s just me who would rather stay at home!

  1. Nice to get out and about. Lovely photos. I find N is the same as Toby. Some times he’s really daring going straight over hard equipment, other times he won’t go over much easier stuff #livingarrows

  2. Gabe looks so much fun now he can toddle around everywhere and I know what you mean about Toby – both A and T have the same issues at times where fear just gets them! x

  3. Gorgeous photos of your boys. Little M is the same – sometimes so daring and adventurous and other times nervous and doesn’t even want to be dropped off at school!. They are just like all of us aren’t they? Glad you have got out and about. I know what you mean, often I just want to stay at home and get bits done, but the kids are so much happier and easier when they are outdoors! x

  4. These are gorgeous photos, we’ve had the most immense fog this week and I am hopeful it doesn’t rain this weekend, but a trip to the park is always great fun isn’t it? #LivingArrows

  5. Gabe looks so cute toddling about! And I love the concentration on Toby’s face. My eldest just gets very overwhelmed at the park and runs from thing to thing without actually going on anything. I’m not sure if it’s fear or what but she’s much happier just exploring on a walk. It’s funny how they’re all different and that it can change day to day. #livingarrows

  6. Gorgeous little ones! I know how you feel about getting motivated to get out of the house. When the weather is so rubbish it hardly inspires you to open the front door because you know it’s going to be cold, freezing or wet. Or all of them! Fingers crossed for some sunshine soon x
